I, Johnny Giovanni Righini, am the creator of Find Desire Not Demise. I am pro-recovery. Here you will find photography, poetry, word core, spoken word, writings and videos focused on eating disorders and underlying issues that relate to the development of this disease. I can only speak for myself. Every person’s experience with eating disorders and addictions will be different.  I have created this website because one of my purposes of living has been to create change. We cannot see change unless we make change. Art has been a crucial part of my recovery. I have learned to utilize the power of my own voice through my artwork. I want to help as many people with eating disorders as I can.  I will make no promises or sugar coat a happy ending.  I can only show the world my raw truth as I know it and live it while continuing to allow my voice to be heard. Each and every one of us are MIRACLES.

I am no better than you, nor is my story. I am yet another human being on this earth trying to help myself and others along the way.
